Ellen Daigle Doskey has more than 25 years of experience practicing law in Louisiana. After graduating from LSU School of Law in 1994, she clerked for the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Shreveport, Louisiana for three years before returning to her hometown of Houma. She is an assistant district attorney for Terrebonne Parish where she is the lead research and appellate attorney.
Ellen’s practice focuses on wills, successions, trusts, estate planning, and elder law. She also has considerable experience researching and writing briefs, memos, and appeals.
Ellen is active in the community and has served on the board of The Haven, a social services agency dedicated to stopping violence against women, as well as the Terrebonne Parish Tree Board. She is a founding board member of Girls on the Run, Houma-Terrebonne, a non-profit agency that provides an after-school program for girls that focuses on creating healthy, confident, and joyful attitudes.
Ellen is married to Chuck Doskey and is the mother of two beautiful children.
